Academic learning has not come easily for Matt. However, with his never-give-up attitude, he has persevered. This perseverence has enabled him to develop skills other than in academia. He is a true leader – and to this end, took on the training of the school football team in his lunch time and is organising the team to attend the Smarter than Smoking Football Carnival at Moora. His leadership and commitment are a credit to him, someone who never gives up.
