20. Joe Perry

Joe Perry has been a long-standing member of the Australian Catholic University’s staff and truly lives the mission of the University, which includes acknowledging the dignity of each individual and engaging in the community.

Joe has been co-ordinator of the Murray-to-Moyne cycle relay team, a 500km-long race; he has helped raise over $15,000 for the Medical Centre in Bacau, East Timor; and has endeavoured to reach beyond disadvantage, beyond borders, and beyond differences in order to make a real difference in improving the lives of others.
