44. Glen Woodward
On behalf of the City of Adelaide, the Lord Mayor nominated Glen Woodward to receive the Torch-Bearer Award. Glen has volunteered at the Adelaide Town Hall for 15 years as a tour guide and belongs to nearly every historical society in the city.
After the ceremony, every time someone congratulated him on his award, he held up the medallion, read the quote and said, “I really believe in these words. They’re true.”
