Tegan is a Year 6 student at Newcomb Park Primary School, Geelong. She raised the idea of having a Friendship Stop at a Junior School Council meeting after seeing some students walking around the school by themselves at recess and lunchtime. The students decided to go ahead with the idea and have since set up a special meeting area under the assembly area. Students can find a friend, play board games, draw pictures and borrow sports equipment.

Tegan sometimes does a Welcome to Country at the school’s Friday assembly, representing the Wutherong Aboriginal people.

Her interests are Basketball, Cross Country running. Tegan is also a member of an Aboriginal dance group.
