Aaron was employed by the Gawler Health Service in 2006 as the Fatherhood Worker to develop a program for fathers living in Gawler and surrounds. Around the same time the Gawler Health Service received a grant to establish a Men's Shed in Gawler. Aaron took this project on with passion and commitment. He worked with local men in Gawler to find a suitable site and never lost sight of the goal even when things didn't go to plan. Willo's Shed is now up and running with equipment for woodwork, welding, a kitchen, darts and a pool table. Local men are now taking an increased role in the running of the Shed and Aaron is stepping back. His commitment, hard work, countless volunteer hours and passion has resulted in a community facility to be proud of.
