Australia 22 March: Robe - Mount Gambier
Some of the runners took the opportunity to watch the sunrise – always a great start to the day.
Robe is famous for its dramatic ocean views.
And for its limestone cliffs.
A very big thank you to Robin and Geoff Moloney at Lakeside Tourist Park in Robe, who provided complimentary accommodation for the entire team.
The Park is set on beautiful grounds.
The first visit for the day was Robe Primary School.
They were really nice kids.
The Mayor of Robe came too.
The kids went running with us.
And held the torch.
They were very enthusiastic.
We really enjoyed our visit.
Adhiratha put in some serious mileage today.
We bumped into some nice tourists from Germany.
The girls found time to jump for joy.
And to take some nice photos.
At Newbery Park Primary in Millicent, the kids did a fantastic arrangement of the World Harmony Run theme song.
Their music teacher was very happy to hold the torch.
They were good runners!
And were thrilled to participate.
Especially when they got the chance to hold the torch.
We finished the day in Mount Gambier at Blue Lake.
And there was a double rainbow! Yay!
See you tomorrow!
