Australia 21 March: Meningie - Robe
Thanks to Troy and Jacqui for hosting the team at Lake Albert Caravan Park last night.
Today was Harmony Day!
We started off with a visit to Meningie Area School. The children sang us some songs about peace and harmony.
Fortunately the weather cleared up and we could head out to the oval for a run with the Torch.
Then the team had to do some running down the highway, to our next appointment at...
Kingston Community School, where all the children were celebating Harmony Day, along with parents and members of the local community. The choir sang a wonderful rendition of the World Harmony Run Song, accompanied by piano, brass and percussion.
The school put on plays and did readings about the meaning of harmony.
Thanks to everyone for helping us experience what harmony is all about!
