USA 20 May: Union City, OK - Carter, OK
Today we had no special World Harmony Run events to attend. School is out in most parts of the country, and we are heading towards the sparsely populated 'Wild West'.
Any runner knows that there are moments of clarity and deep insight, 'Eureka' moments that strike unexpectedly when you reach a smooth momentum. At these times you can feel an inner peace which has lasting effects, and complements your efforts to offer peace to the world at large.
They say a picture tells a thousand words. Here are some snapshots of our day as it unfolded, from the perspective of our different teams....
And some friendly folk we met along the way...
Last but not least, let us thank the people who made it all possible, those who give us more than just a roof over our heads. Hampton Inn and Suites, Elk City made us feel at home
Super 8 in Elk City also very kindly hosted some of our runners that night.
