The World Harmony runners approach Capitol Hill to visit the United States Congress, which makes laws that govern the whole of America.

Congressman Gary Ackerman was kind enough to find a spot in his very busy schedule to greet the runners and hold the torch. He received the Torch-Bearer Award for many years of service to the cause of peace.

We meet a lot of folk along the way who like to hold the torch and offer their goodwill.

At the end of the day we had a wonderful meal at the Oneness-Family-School with Atmatyagi, Chandini, Madhavi and others, and had a great time touring the city.
