Allison was the Master of Ceremonies of the South Pacific Closing Ceremony in Chistchurch on October 5, 2008 – a true friend of the World Harmony Run and a great ambassador for the ideals of world harmony and peace.
As an athlete she was winner of the Boston, New York and Seoul Marathons. Allison also set a course record at both Boston and New York and a world record at the New York City Marathon.
