Canada 30 May: St.Laurent Academy, Ottawa
Today we visited a really nice school in Ottawa called the St.Laurent Academy.
All of the students in the class were very eager to hold our banners and flags!
We told them all about the run, watched the World Harmony Run Video ( they were disappointed to discover that it was only 5 minutes long) and then we taught them the WHR song with some movements.
After observing a moment of silence where we felt harmony inside of our hearts, we presented them with a certificate thanking them for their exuberant participation.
The teachers were very happy as well.
Sharing is caring! Gautami and Brahmata demonstrate how to share a brownie.
Getting hydrated for our run shouldn't be a problem here.
Then we entered into action by actually running with everyone arond the school.
After catching our breath from the run, we passed the torch around the circle and everyone made a wish for world peace and harmony.
A family affair - Aidan and his Parents (Kira and Sean) and Grandparents (Hladini and Neil) were all at the event.
By the end of the ceremony, everyone was smiling!
