Rencontre avec le Club de coureurs sur route Milpat de la Mauricie.  Tout le monde est heureux de se rencontrer à nouveau ou pour la première fois.  

Meeting the runners from the Milpat Running Club. Everybody is happy to meet, again or for the first time.

Les coureurs du Milpat ont toujours bien encouragé la Course de l’harmonie mondiale, à laquelle ils participent depuis ses débuts en 1987.  Nous voyons ici le groupe de coureurs qui entreprendront un trajet de 10 Km dans Trois-Rivières. 

The Milpat Club's members have always been strong supporters of the Run, and have participated since its very beginning in 1987. The group is seen here before the launch of the 10 km run through Trois-Rivières.

On se faufile un peu partout dans les rues, ce qui donne l’opportunité de visiter la ville en même temps… 

The route zigzagged through many different areas, giving us a tour of the city at the same time...

Le Sanctuaire était notre destination avec le Club Milpat.  Cette cathédrale magnifique est un lieu de pèlerinage achalandé.  

The Sanctuaire was our destination with the Club. This magnificent cathedral is a pilgrimage point to many.

Des visiteurs sont ravis de pouvoir tenir le Flambeau.  

Visitors were overjoyed to hold the Torch.

Réjean Dubord, président du Club Milpat, reçoit la médaille du « Torch Bearer Award » pour sa contribution exceptionnelle au sport de la course à pied.  À ses côtés se trouvent Vrishaketu et Vidura.

Nous nous dirigeons à l’est, vers Québec, tout en partageant l’esprit de la Course avec les gens.  

We head east to Québec, taking time to share the spirit of the Run with onlookers.

L’héritage spirituel de cette partie du pays est palpable tout au long jusqu’à Québec. 

The spiritual heritage of this part of the country is very present all along the way to Québec city.

La chaleur fut un défi pour nous, avec des pointes à 30 Celsius et une forte humidité. 

The heat made it harder for us today, with top temperatures of 30 celcius and high humidity.  

Sarvagata a couru plus de 35 Km aujourd’hui. 

Sarvagata cumulated over 35 km today.  

Une vue admirable aux environs de Grondines.  Des rafales de vent frais venant du Saint-Laurent furent appréciées. 

An outstanding view from the Grondines area. Gusts of fresh wind from the Saint-Lawrence were much welcomed.  

Québec étant la destination finale pour aujourd’hui, les coureurs ont dû se partager une distance totale de plus de 120 Km.  

With Quebec City as the destination for the day, the runners had to distribute among themselves a distance of over 120 km.

Nous ne nous trouvons pas dans le parc national de Death Valley, mais c’est tout comme.  

This is not death valley, but it sure is hot.
