We set off on the last stage of road in the Czech Republic from the front of a grammar school in Děčín. Besides the local children and teachers, we were warmly welcomed there by Miroslav Samlet, the Deputy Mayor of Děčín.

Poslední úsek naší štafety na území ČR jsme odstartovali v Děčíně před budovou gymnázia, kde nás kromě místních žáků, studentů a učitelů přivítal náměstek primátora Ing. Miroslav Samlet.

We enjoyed a great dance performance by the local children. The headmaster of the youth club, Mr. Zdenek Kult deserves our big thank you.

Děti z domu dětí a mládeže nám předvedly skvělé taneční vystoupení. Moc děkujeme za podporu a pomoc řediteli Domu dětí a mládeže v Děčíně panu Zdeňku Kultovi.

Studenti nás doprovodili až na konec města.

Soon we arrived to Hřensko. This border village is a gateway to one of the most beautiful parts of the České Švýcarsko mountains.

Zanedlouho jsme doběhli do Hřenska. Tato pohraniční obec je považována za bránu do nejpůvabnější oblasti Českého Švýcarska.

The Mayor of Hřensko, Josef Černý was already awaiting us.

V Hřensku nás přivítal starosta Josef Černý.

Hooray, we managed! Finally crossing the German border.

Huráááá, tak jsme to dokázali! Po více než 10 dnech v Česku přebíháme německé hranice.

Hraničním přechodem Schmilka – Hřensko jsem proběhli s úsměvem na rtech.

After crossing the Czech-German border, we visited Bad Schandau. The Mayor, Andreas Eggert heartily welcomed us.

V Bad Schandau prvním městě, které jsme po překročení německých hranic navštívili, nás srdečně přivítal tamější starosta Andreas Eggert.

While crossing the borders of each country, we are able to experience the feeling of unity brought by the torch of harmony.

The World Harmony Run joins one heart with another, one human being with another, one town with another and one nation with another. A Czech mayor carrying the torch with a German mayor is the proof.

Když s pochodní překračujeme hranice jednotlivých států, máme možnost na vlastní kůži prožít pocit jednoty, kterou pochodeň harmonie přináší.

Světový běh harmonie spojuje srdce se srdcem, člověka s člověkem, město s městem a národ s národem. Český starosta nesoucí pochodeň společně se svým německým protějškem jsou toho důkazem.
