After our night in Uman' we settled down for another day of running in Ukraine. We were sure we would never run out of fresh and tasty bread.

Переночувавши в Умані, ми розпочали новий день бігу в Україні. Нам здавалося, що ми ніколи не вибігаємо цей свіжий і смачний хліб.

And here we go! The offering of bread to guests is a really nice tradition.

А тут ми це зробили! Зустрічати гостей хлібом з сіллю дійсно гарна традиція.

Lina switching to slippers. As we generate smiles along the road day by day, we ourselves get really happy too. To me the simplicity of the life on the road really gives a lot. We experience what is really important in life. Joy and happiness.

Ліна перевзувається. Як ми створюємо посмішки вздовж дороги щодня, так і ми самі стаємо дійсно щасливими . Для мене просте життя на дорозі дає дійсно багато. Ми відчуваємо що є дійсно важливим в житті. Радість і щастя.

The children of our kind lunch hosts, with the torch. It was hard to run after the amazing Ukrainian feast.

Діти доброзичливого господаря, що нагодував нас обідом, з факелом. Це дуже важко бігти після дивовижного українського бенкету.

Another packed Lada. There is no limit to the load a Lada can carry. Just let your imagination fly.

Інша нагружена Лада. Немає обмежень в тому, що може перевозити Лада. Просто дозволь твоїй уяві летіти.

Magnificent buildings along our way: the house of culture in Dzhulynka. Running on an easy schedule, we had time for swimming and frisbee every day. And some photography too.

Розкішний будинок вздовж нашого шляху: будинок культури Джулинки. Бігаючи по легкому розкладу, ми кожен день мали час поплавати і пограти в фрізбі (гра з летючою тарілкою). І для деяких фото також.

Будь як сонячник: рости вгору до неба. Завжди будь обличчам до сонця і не бійся залишитися наодинці...

An enthusiastic runner joined us at his village, and ran with us some 15km at a pace that was really hard to follow. Later, his father came with two bikes and they bicycled back home. He will join the Ukrainian run for one of the upcoming days, for a whole day of running. It is good we met him - by coincidence!

Сповнений ентузіазму, бігун приєднався до нас в своєму селищі, і пробіг з нами близько 15 км в такому темпі, що з ним було не просто бігти поруч. Пізніше його батько приїхав з двома велосипедами і вони поїхали додому. Він приєднається до української команди в один з наступних днів на цілий день бігу. Як добре, що ми випадково зустріли його!

We had a nice reception with flowers, and then the children of Ternivka and Dzhulynka in Bershadsky district ran with us.

Нас добре зустріли з квітами, а потім діти з Тернівки і Джулинки Бершадського району бігли з нами.

Running with the kids - this is what I like the most of the World Harmony Run. There is no limit to their energy. We had almost five hundred kids for the day.

Бігти з діточками, ось що я найбільше полюбляю у Всесвітньому бігові заради гармонії. Немає межі для їх енергії. Ми зустрілись майже з п'ятистами діточками цього дня.

Lunch break. Martin relaxes for a few minutes after the delicious lunch we were offered.

Обідня перерва. Мартін розслабився на декілька хвилин після смачного обіду.

A friend joining us barefoot in Bershad'. He came some 10km!

Друг приєднався до нас босоніж в Бершаді. Він пробіг близько 10 км!

And at a good pace!

A bit of rain and a warm reception at the Kryzhopil district border. A local folk group sang a traditonal welcome song for us.

Маленький дощ і тепла зустріч на межі Крижопільського району. Місцева народна група заспівала нам традиційну вітальну пісню.

And the bread that can not be missed. Radka kissing the bread by the local tradition. Thank you! How can we eat that much?

І коровай, який ніколи не можна пропустити. Радка поцілувала хліб за місцевою традицією. Дякуємо! Як ми можемо стільки їсти?

I made friends with a kind lady who has relations in Szeged, Hungary. It's a pity I don't speak Ukrainian.

Я подружився з доброзичливою жінкою, яка має родичів в Сзегеді, Угорщина. Жаль, я не розмовляю українською.

The speaker of the district parliament and the head of the district administration, together with the torch. The locals really did their best to receive the international relay in an outstanding way.

Голова ради району і голова районної адміністрації разом з факелом. Місцеві мешканці дійсно постаралися зустріти міжнародну естафету видатним способом.

We met these boys along the way. They turned their bikes around to follow us and ask what we were doing. When Jarek told them about the Run they were very happy that they met us. After cycling with us for a couple of km, they also wanted to run. So Jarek and Martin simply took their bikes and they took the torch. It looked so great to see our guys on the bikes and the boys running barefoot...

Ми зустріли цих хлопців по дорозі. Вони розвернули свої велосипеди, щоб їхати за нами і запитали, що ми тут робимо. Коли Ярек розповів їм про біг, вони були щасливі, що зустріли нас. Проїхавши поруч з нами декілька км, вони також захотіли пробігти. Так що, Мартін і Ярек просто взяли їх велосипеди, а хлопці взяли факел. Це виглядало так чудово, бачити нашіх хлопців на велосипедах і хлопчаків біжачих босоніж...

And then the downpour started. Still, the locals were so happy to see us.

А потім почалась злива. Все одно місцеві мешканці раді були бачити нас.

By evening, the weather cleared up a little. As the sun appeared, we were accompanied by a beautiful rainbow. We got really nice accommodation for the night in Horodkivka, the biggest village in the region.

Але в вечері трішки прояснилось. Як тільки вийшло сонечко, ми побачили прекрасну веселку. На ночівлю нас розташували дійсно в гарному місці в Городківкі, найбільшему селі району.
