Good morning everyone. Surprise, surprise - it has stopped raining. It may sound funny, but it seems there are just two available temperatures in the Ukraine: very cold and very hot... :)

Добрий ранок всі. Несподіванка, несподіванка перестав лити дощ. Це може звучати дивно, але таке враження, що в Україні тільки дві температури: дуже холодно і дуже жарко... :)

We spent the whole day on small country roads.

Весь день ми провели на маленькій сільській дорозі.

The people of Yevminka welcomed us on the road that leads through the village. With some of the children, we ran to the monument and put flowers down together.

Мешканці Євминки привітали нас на дорозі, що проходить селом. Разом з діточками, ми пробігли до монументу і поклали квіти.

This man is waiting for the green light, to cross the road with his cow. It was so funny to see that, especially with all the apprtment buildings in the background. We then crossed the town with a police escort, because we had one more stop scheduled for today...

Цей чоловік чекав на зелене світло, щоб перейти дорогу зі своєю коровою. Це було так кумедно бачити, особливо з всіма апартаментами на задньому фоні. Потім ми пересікли місто з ескортом міліції, тому що у нас була ще одна зустріч у розкладі...

As usual, one of them has the idea to ask for an autograph...

Як завжди хтось з них запитав нас дати автограф...

... and then the rest of them join in. "Can you please? Sign here - no, here. Me first! No, me..."

... і потім всі інші приєдналися. "Підпишіть, будь ласка, тут - ні тут - мені першому! Ні, мені..."

Jewgenij lit the 'olympic' fire. Every year the camp holds 'olympic' games for the kids and this time we were invited to light the fire with our torch...

Євген запалив "олімпійський" вогонь. Кожного року табір проводить "олімпійські" ігри для дітей і в цей час нас запросили запалити вогонь від нашого факелу...

It was a very nice evening we spent with the kids. We took heaps of pictures, tried to have little conversations in English and Matthias and some of our Ukrainian team members played soccer with the young boys. Just before we were about to go back to our accommodation, our new team members showed up. Vitaliy had just picked up Mate from Hungary and Daniel from Germany at the airport. Also Jarek from Poland had arrived by train. The team is growing. How shall we fit all these people in our van...

Ми провели дуже чудовий вечір з дітьми. Ми зробили кучу фотографій, спробували спілкуватися англійською мовою, Матіас і декотрі з української команди грали в футбол з малечею. Просто перед тим, як ми зібрались йти до місця ночівлі, з'явилися нові члени нашої команди. Віталій привіз з аеропорту Мате з Угорщіни і Даніеля з Німеччини. Також потягом приїхав Ярек з Польщі. Команда росте. Як ми розташуємо всіх цих людей в нашому автобусі...
