1.30pm Ceremony Katherine Town Council, Stuart Hwy, in the grounds – just before bridge, Katherine Times , 8KTR – meet with the Mayor her worship Mrs Anne Shepherd and CEO Mr Geoff Brooks - light lunch of sandwiches and fruit

2.15pm Run north along Stuart Hwy to Leliyn (Edith Falls) turnoff on rhs 41km5pm Drive to accommodation

11.30am Meet kids at Pine Creek Information Bay and run in from there.

11.35am School ceremony, Pupil-free day throughout NT, but would still like to do morning tea for runners

10.50am Run from accom to Kakadu National Park Southern entry boundary, 1km North of Mary River Roadhouse

11am Ceremony – Welcome to Kakadu ceremony by the Gunlom Land Trust Traditional Owners. Many onlookers from the Goymarr Tourist Resort (Mary River RH).

11.30am Run north along Kakadu Hwy for 35km to marker

1.45pm Drive to accom or Jabiru Area School

Mary River RH +35km to Mary River Roadhouse + 90km, 55km

10.30am Drive north along Kakadu Hwy for 35km and place marker

11am Run north along Kakadu Hwy for 55km (to marker)

1pm Drive to Bowali Visitor Centre (47km)

1.30pm Ceremony Bowali Visitor Centre. Afternoon tea for 12. Team C will join also, From there, you run along the path to Jabiru Area School. (Ken will give you directions.)

8.30am Drive north along Kakadu Hwy for 90km and place marker

9:45am Run towards Bowali Visitor Centre 47km

1.30pm Ceremony Bowali Visitor Centre, Afternoon tea for 12. Team C will join also. From there, you run along the path to Jabiru Area School. (Ken will give you directions.)

Directions to school - Cross Kakadu Highway to access sealed walking track to Jabiru 2 km. Track comes out on Jabiru Drive. Turn left. After approx 100m, turn right at Leichhardt St. Approx 250m at T-intersection, turn right on to Civic Dr. Approx 40m turn left into Waterhouse Rd. Jabiru School 100m on right.

2.30pm Ceremony Jabiru Area School Waterhouse Road, Jabiru, Fiona Campbell(teacher), Mark Griffioen, CEO of West Arnhem SC, to attend.

NOTE: School finishes at 3pm, so please be on time.

Jabiru to Humpty Doo – 218.5 km

8.30am Run from Jabiru School , north along Waterhouse Rd, turn right onto Civic Road, left onto Leichardt St 0.7km, right onto Jabiru Dr 2.5km, left onto Arnhem Hwy and continue northwest along this road for 70km (to marker)

1.30pm Drive to accom

Team B
Jabiru +70km to Jabiru + 140km, 70km

Runners: Girls Team (as they have to finish early to pick up Bernice at 3pm at Darwin Airport, Qantas (from Syd)

8am Drive to corner Jabiru Dr/Arnhem Hwy and then measure 70km along Arnhem Hwy and set marker

8.45am Run west along Arnhem Hwy for 70km (to marker)

1.40pm Drive to airport for pickup, and then YHA for Bernice, and then Team Accom (110km)

Team C
Jabiru +140Km to Humpty Doo 75km

8.30am Drive to corner Jabiru Dr/Arnhem Hwy and then measure 140km along Arnhem Hwy and set marker

10am Run west towards Humpty Doo stopping at corner of Arnhem Hwy and Freds Pass Rd (small road on lhs in Humpty Doo) 75km

9.30am Run to St Francis of Assisi, Chaloner Cct (left at Freds Pass Rd, Right onto Challoner Cct (1km from Arnhem Hwy)

9.45am St Francis of Assisi School Challoner Circuit, Shane Kidd (deputy principal) Assembly for 170 kids

10.30am Run to Humpty Doo Primary

10.45am Humpty Doo Primary, Challoner Circuit450 kids – whole school at 11:00, yr 6 Q&A at 11:30

12noon Return to cnr Arnhem Hwy/Freds Pass Rd

12.05pm Run west along Arnhem Hwy 3.1km, right at Stuart Hwy 3.8km, left at Bees Creek Rd and continue to School

1.15pm Bees Creek Primary School,No running on the oval – just talk and Q&A (330 kids), finish with song. Part of assembly.

1.45pm Return to Stuart Hwy

1.50pm Run north along Stuart Hwy to corner Stuart Hwy and Temple Terrace 9.7km

2.50pm Take Miro to airport
