Accommodation:
Donnelly River Holiday Village, Cnr Sears & Andrews Rds, Wheatley, will provide 2 cottages (cottages 7 & 8) for the 12 boys. Directions: From Manjimup: leave the town via Graphite Road and turn right about three kilometres from the town centre along Ralston Road. Watch for the signs to Donnelly Mill, as there are two more right hand turns and one to the left.

Day 58

1 pm Ceremony - Nannup Shire Building with Shire President Barbara Dunnett. Lunch provided

1.45pm Run to Nannup District High School, Head south on Vasse Hwy1.2km, turn left at Bishop St 150m, 1.3km

2pm Ceremony - Nannup District High School

Northclifffe Turnoff to Manjimup – 49.9km

9am Drive from accom to Nannup stopping at corner Vasse Hwy and Bishop St.

10am Run South along Vasse Hwy 1.2km, continue on Brockman Hwy 43.5km, stopping at Chester Rd (or where Team C has left marker)

1.30pm Drive to accom at Prevelly

Manjimup to Bridgetown to Sears Rd – 35.1km

9am Drive from accom to corner Brockman Hwy and Chester Rd (small road, may have sign to Bustleton) which is 45km past Nannup. Set out a marker for Team B.

10.30am Run along Brockman Hwy towards Karridale 29.6km, right at Bussell Hwy 28.5km, Stop at corner of Bussell Hwy and Wallcliffe Rd/Forest Rd, Margaret River

4.30 - 5pm Margaret River – Interview with Media Busselton Margaret River Times, (paper comes out Tuesday) Team B should join.

Team A
Margaret River to Dunsborough – 48.5km

8.15am Run from corner Bussell Hwy/Forest Rd north on Bussell Hwy 1.2km, left onto McQueen Rd 4.2km, continue on Carter Rd 1.6km, right on Caves Rd 39.2km, left onto Cape Naturaliste Rd and 2.2km to School

11.30am Ceremony - Our Lady of the Cape PS, 245 Cape Naturaliste Rd, Dunsborough

1.15pm Drive to corner Bussel Hwy/Queen Elizabeth Drive Busselton to meet school girls and Team B at 1.45pm

Dunsborough to Busselton – 24.5km

10.30am Drive to corner Caves Rd/Cape Naturaliste Rd Dunsborough (45km)

11.30am Run along Caves Rd towards Busselton

15.6km, continue on Bussell Hwy 6.1km (may meet a lady wanting to join team as it runs into Busselton) to Busselton Senior High School corner of Bussell Hwy and Queen Elizabeth Rd.

1.45pm Meetiing: 12 girls will be ready with their Phys Ed teacher Louise Gore out front of school on Bussell Hwy. Girls will run sections each, some will ride in Van while others run. Boys team can help ensure safety.

2pm Run with girls along Bussell Hwy (east) for 2km, turn left at Queen St stopping at Mitchell Park (cnr Prince Street) where the Shire President Wes Hartley will be waiting for the runners (2.20pm) There is a very good chance local TV and media will be coming out to cover the run into town, so all runners should be there with banners and flags. (uniforms etc) to look spectacular.

2.25pm Wes Hartley will run with the runners to the end of Queen St. and onto the Equinox Café 700m

2.30pm Ceremony with Councillors and a special afternoon tea.

9am School Ceremony - Margaret River Primary School. Torch-Bearer Awards to be presented.

10am Drive to corner Bussell Hwy/Queen St/Albert St, Busselton

11am Run south along Bussell Hwy 1.8km, left to stay on Bussell Hwy 43.8km stopping at corner Bussell Hwy/Centenary Rd

3pm Meet meet local runners who will guide team left on Centenary Rd, left at Washington, right on Ocean Drive and to their club house corner Ocean Dr and Symmons St 9km

4pm Bunbury Runners Club - Kevin Martin will be there to meet you. (He has organised your Bunbury visit) Showers available at the clubrooms before you go to meet the Mayor David Smith (an ex 1500 metre runner) at the council chambers nearby

4.30pm Ceremony at Council Chambers with Mayor David Smith 250m away

5pm Return to Clubhouse for Torch-Bearer Awards to some of the long term members of the club, then have a vegetarian goodies from a local café and Pizza! It is mentioned that some of the runners may like to join you on an early morning jog from the clubrooms passing by your accommodation of that night.

Team A
Bunbury to Preston Beach Rd – 55.2km

8.15am Run from Bunbury Runners Clubhouse to Picton Primary School, Jeffrey Rd, Run east on Symmons St .6km, left on Koombana 200m, take 3rd exit at roundabout to stay on Koombana 3.2km, continue on Estuary Dr 200m, take 1st exit onto Australind Bypass (1) .4km, make a U-turn (near Newton Rd) and then left onto Moorland Ave .5km, left onto Jeffrey Rd and continue to School.

9am Picton Primary, Jeffrey Rd, Glen Iris,

9.50am Run northeast on Estuary Dr 3.4km, at roundabout take 1st exit onto Old Coast Rd (1) for 45.6km stop at Preston Beach Rd

9am Drive from accom up Old Coast Rd (1) to Preston Beach Rd (35.3km north of where the old Coast Rd and Australind Bypass join) leave marker

10am Run from Preston Beach Rd north along Old Coast Rd (1) 32.2km, Continue on Dawesville Bypass 3.5 km, Continue straight onto Old Coast Rd 10.3 km, Exit onto Old Coast Rd, Go through 1 roundabout 1.8 km At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Pinjarra Rd 0.4 km Turn left at Mandurah Terrace, Go through 3 roundabouts 3.6 km, Slight right to stay on Mandurah Terrace 0.2 km Turn left at Fremantle Rd 6.2 km Continue on Mandurah Rd 1km. Turn left on Singleton Beach Rd .6km, right onto Federation Dr .6km, left at Naval Ave 100m to School

2.15pm Singleton Primary School, Princ Bevan Ripp, Naval Avenue, Singleton, visit Sri Chinmoy St, Torch-Bearer awards to be presented

10am Run north along Mandurah Rd towards Fremantle 25.3km, Slight right at Rockingham Rd 4.9 km, Slight right at Cockburn Rd 11.0 km, Turn left to stay on Cockburn Rd 2.1 km, Continue on Hampton Rd 2.8 km, Continue on Ord St 0.2 km, Turn left at High St 0.6 km, At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Queen St 0.2 km, At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Adelaide St 0.2 km, Turn left at Point St 63 m

2pm St Patricks Catholic Primary, 2 Point St, Fremantle
