2010

This year's World Harmony Run brings together teams from New Zealand and Australia in a joint trans-Tasman event. Starting in Christchurch on New Zealand's south island on October 13, the team will make its way to Auckalnd via Queenstown, Invercargill and Dunedin. Once on the north island, the runners will head off to Tauranga, Wairoa, Napier and Masterton before finally finishing in Wellington on November 4.

Then it's off to Australia. The team flies to Hobart, the Tasmanian capital and takes to the road heading up the east coast and across from St Helens to Launceston. A ferry ride across Bass Strait lands the team in Melbourne, ready for the trek through Gippsland to Canberra. Along the way Geelong, Sorrento and towns en route to Lakes Entrance will be visited before the final leg when the team crosses into New South Wales, visiting the mountain township of Cooma. On November 23 the journey will be completed when the World Harmony Run torch arrives in Australia's capital, Canberra.
