A straight rollercoaster of a road seems to go on forever. Through dark green coniferous forests, vast fields and meadows, on and on, on and on... An old sign appears out of nowhere: Moscow 615k. The day is hot. This day most of our runners clock at least 20k.

 Прямі американські гірки на дорозі казались нескінченними. Через темні хвойні ліси, широкі поля і луки... Старий знак з'явившийся невідомо звідки: Москва 614 км. Спекотно. Цього дня більшість з наших бігунів пробігла 20 км.

Along this road we have a few very nice ceremonies at the Borznijanskij district border, Bahmatskij district border, Summy region, and Hluhiv region border. Ladies in traditional costume offer us delicious bun-bread. Officials smile and even run with us for several kilometres.

Протягом цієї дороги ми мали декілька чудових церемоній на межі Борщанського, Бахмутського районів, на межі Сумської області і Глухівського району. Жінки в традиційному вбранні дарували нам смачні короваї. Офіційні особи всміхалися і навіть бігли з нами декілька кілометрів.

In the late afternoon we arrive in Hluhiv, where we are invited to dinner. Then we quickly leave our things at our accommodations, which are clean and cosy, because we have a rendezvous with a children’s summer camp. THUNDEROUS CLAPPING! SCREAMS! Enthusiasm overload! These kids are so energetic and very much enjoy running with us. At the same time they are very sweet: “What is your name?”, “Where are you from?”, “Please write your name.” In their faces we are met by innocent glistening eyes and spontaneous sparkling smiles. They give us a jamboree with singing and dancing. In the middle the electricity fails, but the show goes on successfully, the audience clapping the rhythm to the songs and dances. I for one feel invigorated and refreshed by this meeting.

Ввечері ми прибігли до Глухіва. Ми швиденько залишили наші речі в гуртожитку, чистому і затишному, тому що в нас була зустріч в Дитячому таборі відпочинку. ТИСЯЧІ ОПЛЕСКІВ! КРИК!  Ентузіаз зашкалює! Ці діти були такі енергійні і дуже раділи бігши з нами. В той сами час вони дуже милі: "Як тебе звуть?", "Звідкиля ти?", "Будь ласка, напиши своє ім'я". Невинні очі,  невимушена посмішка. Вони подарували нам святкування з піснями і танцями. По серед дії відключилась електрика, але шоу продовжувалось, всы хлопали ритм для пісень і танців. Мені особисто додала сили і підбадьорила ця зустріч.

По дорозі до місця ночівлі ми бачили захоплюючий захід сонця.
