Iceland 10 June: Reykyavik -

We just couldn't leave Iceland without experiencing even more of the greatness and uniqueness of its nature. We went for a little tour, trying to keep as many impressions as possible inside our minds and hearts.

Iceland, Iceland, Iceland, Iceland,
You are your life's charity-hand,
Hospitality's sleepless door,
Kindness, oneness and fulness-core.
Iceland, Iceland, Iceland, Iceland,
World-peace-dreamer, perfection-stand.

(words from a song composed by Sri Chinmoy)

The famous Blue Lagoon, a 'must' for everyone visiting the country! They were so kind as to offer us free admission to the "ultimate spa experience".

We met these nice people from Great Britain who heard about us just recently, while we were running through their home country.

In this area you have to watch your step to not burn your feet.

Here in Iceland they produce electricity and use the hot water for cities, from the heat coming naturally from the earth.

To our great surprise we even discovered a hidden space-station :0)

The European continent is drifting apart from the American continent exactly at this point. What an awesome place to walk along.

Thingvellir - National Park, and oldest parliament in the world.

Purest drinking water.

'Geyser' coming up.

...quite an unpredictable fellow (meaning the geyser).

..it was teasing us like anything, making us pose for 15 minutes for this picture before it exploded again.

A big pot of boiling water.

Gullfoss.

Catching the immense power of the waterfall.

1/4 of a second....

It gave us a lot of joy to visit these unforgettable places - 'specially to Ondrej, who loves taking great pictures of nature's beauty, as you see in our reports.

Before you come to Iceland, make sure you know how to pet a horse.

A very unusual and subtle rainbow caught our eyes.

'Kerfid', a volcanic crater filled with clearest water.
