USA 2 August: Ashland, OH - Cadiz, OH

This was our last full day in the state of Ohio and it was a very special day with three ceremonies.

Our first ceremony was at the Knights Field YMCA Camp in Wooster.

There the children lined the sidewalk to cheer Surya on. They were so full of energy and enthusiasm.

They were doing a Fitness Challenge and had been looking forward to hearing our inspiring message.

We were also inspired by their unbounded energy and thoughtfulness and sincerity about harmony.

A special thank you to Jessica and Jessie for hosting us at the camp this morning.

Also in Wooster we met another group of children from the YMCA. Once again they lined the sidewalk as Sukhada and Surya ran in.

They enjoyed our World Harmony Run so much they asked for us to sing it twice and on the second time they joined in. The team is not use to that I can tell you!

Some of the children had specially made some World Harmony Run greeting cards for us.

After passing the torch in a big circle..

...we presented them with some prints by Sri Chinmoy.

Approaching the town of Strasbourg we were joined by some local runners,

Kevin, Kolton, Brandon and Emily and they were so excited to run with us and they ran about 9 miles with us into the Tuscawaras County YMCA in Dover.

They all ran into together and all had such smiley faces. They gave us so much joy seeing them so happy running with the torch.

It was a nice finish to the day to meet this wonderful and enthusiastic children.

This ceremony was a little quieter and soulful.

And here again we offered some beautiful prints of Sri Chinmoy's. The founder of the World Harmony Run was also a very prolific artist.

Thank you again Pam for making this such a special day in Ohio!

That evening we made out way to Wheeling, West Virginia, where the ladies team was hosted by the Wheeling Inn and ...

the boys enjoyed the comforts of the Hampton Inn. The Run just would not be possible if not for the generosity of local businesses like these.
