Singapore 5 May : World Harmony Run 2012

It was an auspicious day to run for harmony because it happened to be Vesak Day when hundreds of thousands of Buddhists in Singapore celebrated Lord Buddha's Enlightenment with grand prayers and ceremonies. And it all started with the perfect weather. I already felt Lord Buddha blessingfully bestowing His divine blessings upon us. We were also very fortunate and grateful to have the event graced by our Guest of Honor, MP Mr Zaqi Mohamad. Despite not feeling well, MP Mr Zaqi Mohamad was so gracious to turn up so as to support our cause.

As we conclude the Run for this year, I would like to thank the following people who made this Run possible today and for the other days as well.

Marcus Lim for admin, driving, route mapping, publicity and for putting up with many last minute requests.

Andrew Lim for general overall support.

James for traffic control.

Kim Ping for photos.

Jocelyn for general assistance, despite not feeling well.

Min for bringing his friends.

On behalf of The World Harmony Run, we offer our heartfelt gratitudes to you for making this a success. Without which it wouldn't be possible.

A special mention goes to Urdyogini(Australia), Hemabha(South Korea), Harashita(Japan) and Prabuddha(Australia) for making this part of their itinary in their WHR Asia Pacific regional run. Thank you for coming to Singapore and Malaysia. Not forgetting Andrew, Hui Ping, Nallini, Lunthita, Jeffrey Ang and Sujata, thank you for your wonderous assistance. It was great having your company.
