Canada 5 September: Summerside, PEI - Magnetic Hill, NB
Team A
Today I had a very nice run through the Canadian countryside. I had the ocean on my right and the woods on my left. When my run was coming to an end I met up with Javier, who was on his daily 8-km walk. After chatting for a bit, he invited all our team to have tea at his home, but unfortunately we could not stop due to our tight schedule.
Canada is quite abundant. Wherever you go you see apple, cherries and other fruit trees laden with offerings. All of us have picked a few as we run. Not only are the trees generous, Canadians do not fall behind. Today we were invited by Mayor Ola Drisdelle of Beaubessin-Est and his wonderful delegation, for a great meal and a great heart- warming encounter with Father Louis Boudreau of the Paroisse Timothee, who was so kind in providing the venue for our gathering.
While there ,we also met up with Marie Louise Benjamin, who had seen us running on the Run and decided to come and see what it was all about. She lifted all of our spirits with her sweetness, encouragements and many hugs.
At the end of our day John Smith from Newfoundland came up to us and offered, not only a monetary contribution, but he also serenaded us with a nice Irish tune. I would like to thank all of all our Canadian friends on behalf of the World Harmony Run team. Thank you for all your kindness and generosity!
On another note, I would like to apologize ahead of time for all the people reading this and expecting one of those very funny stories of the previous two days. Adarini, who is the author is now very tired, but we will try to have her back on the story block as soon as she recuperates…Till then keep reading.

Team B
Vance Bridges, City Councillor of Summerside met us first thing this morning and wished us well on our journey.
Medur enjoys some early morning miles in the sun.
Mayor Raymond Cormier of Shediac took a few steps with the torch after welcoming us to his beautiful city. That's a big lobster in the background.
One of the Shediac locals also expressed his hopes and dreams for a more harmonious world - albeit a little belatedly.
Rathin was having a rough morning and ended up in the stocks of Shediac.
But things went from bad to worse as the giant lobster got him in his pincers.
That's Gabriel holding the torch reflected in this journalists sun-glasses. Now that is art!
Mayor of Moncton, George LeBlanc, met with us as we made our way through town.
Gabriel leads the team out of Moncton.
We finished the day in Magnetic Hill and Rathin's trevails continued as the torch metal torch got stuck to the sign.
Next on the agenda was a delicious meal at Pizza Delight. Thank you Judy for your generousity.
A quick trip to the supermarket for tomorrow's essentials.
And what day on the World Harmony Run would be complete without a visit to the Ice Cream Parlour - Thank you Canada!
