USA 28 July: Dexter, MI - Flatrock, MI

Gautami, on her last day, lead the charge into the "Go Like the Wind" Montessori school.

Jeromy shares the Run's message that harmony begins in the heart of each individual.

Feeling the harmony.

Everyone loves running with the torch.

Jeremy Abramson for Grand Rapids enjoys a few miles with the torch.

As we made our way to our next appointment our team captain swapped the torch for his camera to capture some of this action packed day.

We were delighted to have some members of the girls cross-country team from the Divine Child High School in Dearborn, MI join us for a few miles.

The Divine Child cross-country team bring the torch into the Dearborn Height Montessori Center.

The students had prepared a fantastic banner in honor of our arrival.

The Hoppe clan just keeps on appearing along our route. Here we have Yuyudhan, Austin, Pat, Terry, Chuck and Edythe with us in Dearborn. Thanks very much for coming out.

Next we ran to the Detroit Coleman Young Recreation Center to meet with the children who were eagerly awaiting our arrival.

Mayor William Wild of Westland met the women's team and interviewed them for a "Spotlight" on the WLND Westland TV station.

We finished a full day with a heartfelt meeting with James R. DeSana, Mayor of Wyandotte.

As we were leaving Wyandotte we happened to bump into some of the younger residents, who were delighted to hold the torch and share their hopes and dreams for a more harmonious world.
