In this year's World Harmony Run we also try to strengthen good ties with great places from the past years. Lozzolo is definitely one of those places. We were extremely happy to meet again our friends from the primary school!

Quest'anno la World Harmony Run ha anche rafforzato i buoni rapporti con straordinari luoghi gia' toccati lo scorso anno. Lozzolo e' senz'altro uno di questi posti. Noi siamo stati estremamente contenti di incontrare nuovamente i nostri amici della scuola elementare!

The kids had flags which said "welcome" in many languages...

I bambini avevano delle bandiere con scritto "benvenuti" in molte lingue ...

...the mayor greeted us...

... il sindaco ci ha dato i suoi saluti ...

...and we got a special gift from the community of Lozzolo!

... e abbiamo ricevuto uno speciale riconoscimento dalla comunita' di Lozzolo!

finally we all went off for a short Run...

finalmente tutti insieme siamo usciti per una piccola Corsa ...

After the Run a gorgeous buffet awaited us: the mothers of the kids prepared all kind of sweet specialities with the help of "Proloco". After a buffet like this running becomes almost impossible. Luckily the runners in our team learn quickly to move with a full stomach...

Dopo la Corsa ci aspettava un gigantesco ristoro: le mamme dei bambini avevano preparato tutte le specialita' di dolci con l'aiuto della "Proloco". Dopo un ristoro cosi' e' quasi impossibile tornare a correre. Fortunatamente i nostri corridori hanno imparato a muoversi a stomaco pieno...

the kids helped us to empty the buffet table without any difficulties...

I bambini ci hanno aiutato a svuotare il ristroro naturalmente ...

After all this good food you need a Capucchino...

Dopo tutto questo buon cibo manca solo un cappuccino ...

In Roasio we also met again kids from last year's Run.

Anche in Roasio abbiamo incontrato nuovamente i ragazzi dell'anno scorso.

they enthusiastically received the torch....

hanno ricevuto la torcia entusiasticamente ...

...and off they went around the school...

...a dopo abbiamo corso attorno alla scuola...

Our next stop brought us to Brusnengo.

Il nostro successivo incontro e' stato a Brusnengo.

The smiling faces of all the kids made it a really hearty meeting.

Le facce sorridenti di tutti i bambini dimostravano il cuore dell'incontro.

After a presentation of the WHR we sat together in the gym and the kids asked questions about the Run.

Dopo la presentazione della WHR siamo andati insieme in palestra e i ragazzi ci hanno fatto alcune domande sulla Corsa.

For lunchtime half of the team was invited to eat with the kids in Brusnengo, the other half ate with the kids in Roasio.

Per pranzo meta' della squadra ha mangiato coi ragazzi a Brusnengo e l'altra meta' con quelli di Roasio.

A short Run in the end and a warm "good bye".

Una piccola Corsa alla fine ci ha dato un caloroso "saluto"

Our last stop was Masserano. This jewel of an ancient town is a rarely known place. Not even hundred years ago the city was independent and had even it's own currency. It lies hidden in the hills of Piemonte...

Il nostro ultimo incontro e' stato Masserano. La parte antica della citta' e' un gioiello raro. Non molte centinaia di anni fa la citta' era indipendente e aveva la sua propria moneta. La ccitta' riposa nelle colline del Piemonte ...

...a WHR stamp confirms to be a real member of the WHR team; well, this is a quite unusual place...
... un timbro WHR conferma di essere un membro effettivo del team; bene, questo e' un posto un po' inusuale ...

Special thanks to Luca for organising the last three places! Like last year he proved to be a real friend and supporter of the WHR!
