We left the convent of St. Francois in Sartene in the morning, for the highlight of our running in Corsica.

Slowly, we started our climb...

3 major mountain passes were waiting today:

Col de la Vaccia, 1193m, Col de Verde, 1289m and Col de Sorba, 1311m - altogether, over 120 km on the most challenging roads within the highest peaks of Corsica!

We were running all day long within stunning scenery.  We  met almost no people, but the running challenge really made up for the loneliness!
