La participation à cet événement est gratuite et ouverte à tous: aussi bien aux coureurs confirmés qui parcourront des dizaines de kilomètres ou qui prendront part au relais plusieurs jours de suite, qu'aux simples amoureux de la fraternité, sportifs ou non, qui pourront eux aussi porter la flamme symbolique.
Les coureurs visitent des écoles, des associations, des clubs de sports, des organisations gouvernementales et des ONG, afin de promouvoir l'idéal de l'harmonie mondiale et reconnaître le travail de ceux qui oeuvrent en ce sens à leur manière.
World Harmony Run est libre de toute implication politique, financière ou religieuse. Le caractère universel de son message et son ouverture d'esprit offrent la possibilité à chacun d'y participer, quelles que soient ses convictions personnelles.
Pour tous ceux - et ils sont de plus en plus nombreux - qui pensent que le devenir du monde est aussi de leur ressort, une création à laquelle chacun peut participer consciemment, World Harmony Run offre une opportunité unique de participer activement à un immense geste international.

Participation in this event is free and open to all: experienced runners who can run ten or twenty kilometres at a time or can join the relay team over several days are as welcome as those who support the ideals of international brotherhood, whether athletes or not, who also wish to hold the symbolic torch.
The runners visit schools, associations, sports clubs, government organisations and ONG in order to promote the ideal of world harmony and recognise the work of those who are striving in their own way in that direction.
The World Harmony Run has no political, financial or religious affiliation. The universality of its message and its openmindedness is an open invitation to all to participate.
