In Czech Republic we started our journey at Vlárský průsmyk, where we said goodbye to the great Slovak team.

Naše trasa v České republice začala na hraničním přechodu Vlárský průsmyk, kde jsme se rozloučili s našimi slovenskými přáteli. Byli jsme skvělý tým!

The Mayor Blanař from the village Brumov-Bylnice courageously entered with us to our native country.

Pan starosta Blanař z obce Brumov-Bylnice s námi odvážně vběhl do naší vlasti.

120 children from the Brumov-Bylnice village - that´s what is called a big audience!

We had a lot of fun with the children while singing the World Harmony Run song and doing actions.

S dětmi jsme si užili spoustu zábavy při zpívání a hraní písně Světového běhu harmonie.

Small or tall, with trainers or without - everyone started to run with us.

Malý či velký, s botaskami nebo bez, každý se k nám přidal.

Hurray! Here it is! The first Harmony Tree planted :)! This year the World Harmony Run proudly supports the initiative of UN General Assembly which proclaimed 2011 as the International Year of Forests. Every tree that is being planted symbolizes the idea of harmony, coexistence between a man and nature and the protection of forests.

Hurá! Je to tady! První stromek harmonie zasazen :)! Světový běh harmonie letos podporuje iniciativu UN, které vyhlásilo rok 2011 Mezinárodním rokem lesů. S každým zasazeným stromem podporujeme myšlenku harmonie, souznění člověka a přírody a ochranu lesů.

The Headmaster of the school in Brumov-Bylnice is holding the plaque that is going to be fixed near the tree to remind people why it was planted.

Paní ředitelka ZŠ Brumov-Bylnice drží v rukou čestnou plaketu, jež bude následně připevněna na stromek a bude tak připomínat myšlenku, se kterou byl zasazen.

Volleyball players with their blue training suits perfectly match our team. Can someone recognize who is who?

Že nepoznáte, kdo je kdo? Volejbalistky, které s námi proběhly celou obcí Brumov-Bylnice, do našeho týmu se svými dresy skvěle zapadly.

Even the smallest ones from the Jestřábí Kindergarten merrily joined the World Harmony Run.

I ti nejmenší z mateřské školky Jestřábí se zvesela přidali k běhu harmonie.

Na cestě se k nám také připojil místní běžec.

As true sportsman - children from a kindergarten and primary school gave us high fives. We were welcomed by them and the Mayor, Mr. Goňa, at the village hall.

Pozdravem sportovců, plácnutím rukou, nás přivítaly u obecního úřadu v Rokytnici děti z mateřské školky a základní školy v čele s panem Goňou, starostou města.

I wish.....oh, wait, I won´t tell you. It is a secret!

Já si přeju... neřeknu! To se neříká!

Similarly as in other towns, we provided the town of Rokytnice with a Certificate of Appreciation signed by all of our runners.

I město Rokytnice od nás získalo Děkovný list s podpisy všech našich běžců.

Hoštětín - a small village but still very interesting. It has only 260 residents, however, it is very active in regards to ecological projects. In this area it has gained a lot of awards. Even Prince Charles visited the village last year.

Hoštětín - malý, a přesto zajímavý! Vesnička, mající pouze 260 obyvatel, vyniká svými ekologickými projekty, za které získala mnohá ocenění. Sám princ Charles se na tuto vesnici přijel minulý rok podívat.

The Mayor of Pitín ran with us together with lots of local children.

Městem Pitín nám pomohl proběhnout starosta města, pan Zálešák, a mnoho místních dětí.

We were accompanied to Bojkovice village hall by volleyball players. Bojkovice village has a very successful volleyball team that has been multiple champions in the Czech Republic. We appreciated the warm welcome performed by Mr Viceník, the Mayor, in particular as it was in English, so our main translator could have a rest for a while.

K obecnímu úřadu v Bojkovicích nás doprovodili místní volejbalisti. Bojkovice mají velmi úspěšný volejbalový tým, který se již několikrát stal mistrem republiky ve volejbale. Na úřadě nás uvítal pan starosta Mgr.Viceník, který nás mile překvapil svým proslovem v angličtině. Náš hlavní tlumočník si tak mohl na chvíli oddechnout.

Lots of food that they provided which we were not able to eat up, so we were given them to take on our further journey.

Running upwards to the Uherský Brod Square.

Bežíme Uherským Brodem vzhůru na náměstí.

The Mayor and the Vice-Mayor of the town Uherký Brod prepared well for our visit. They even synchronized the colour of their clothes :-)

Starosta Uherského Brodu pan Kunčar a po jeho levici pan místostarosta se na naši návštěvu pečlivě připravili. Dokonce se na dnešní den i barevně sladili :-)

It might look like an inappropriate advertisement (Grilovaná kuřata = grilled chicken) however, policemen were in charge of the runners and not the chickens ;-)

Mohlo by se zdát, že jde o skrytou reklamu, ale páni policisti měli spíše než grilovaná kuřata na starosti běžce ;-)

The yellow field was so tempting that we had to jump in!

Naši běžci nemohli odolat žlutému pokušení, a tak do něj skočili rovnýma nohama (teda spíše pokrčenýma ;-)

A znovu vybíháme!

In the village Vlčnov they still keep traditions alive. Every year there is a "Ride of Kings". Eighteen years old boys choose their king - a young boy from the age of 10 to 12. At the special occasion the king rides a horse, that has several thousand paper blossoms on its body.

Ve vesnici Vlčnov stále dodržují tradice. Každým rokem se zde koná Jízda králů. Králem je chlapec ve věku 10-12 let, jež byl zvolen 18 letými chlapci. Král během ceremonie jede na koni, který je ozdoben několika tisíci papírovými růžemi.

They served us delicious traditional cakes. Indeed, today we have had these cakes already a few times, so we could really feel them during the run...;-) Well, we expected that, though we could not resist.

Ochutnali jsme vynikající tradiční moravské koláčky. No, vlastně ten den už několikáté, takže při běhu jsme je docela cítili...;) Tušili jsme to, ale přesto jsme nemohli odolat.

Mr. Pijáček, the Mayor of Vlčnov, gave us hand made blossoms which are usually used for the Ride of Kings.

Pan Pijáček, starosta Vlčnova, nás všechny obdaroval ručně vyráběnými papírovými květy, které jsou také součástí Jízdy králů.

Many significant people have held the World Harmony Run torch before. But this is maybe the first time when the torch is beared by the king and its suite.

Pochodeń harmonie drželo již spoustu významných osobností. Ale toto je možná poprvé, kdy pochodeň nesl i samotný král za doprovodu své družiny.

As soon as we entered the village Hluk, children joined us and we ran together to the school...

Ve vesnici Hluk se k nám připojily děti, které s námi běžely až k místní škole...

...where the Mayor Šimčík was waiting for us.

...zde na nás čekal starosta obce pan Šimčík.

On the way to Uherské Hradiště we were accompanied by students, who waited for us in Kunovice and guided us to the main square of Uherské Hradiště.

Cestou do Uherského Hradiště nás doprovodili studenti, kteří na nás čekali již v Kunovicích. Odtud pak vedli náš tým až na hlavní náměstí v Uherském Hradišti.

At the main square they built a stage to welcome our team. The Master of the Ceremony was a real proffesional and did a great job. He was really enthusiastic about the run. Thank you once again!

Na hlavním náměstí pro nás na uvítanou postavili pódium. Moderátor byl skutečným profesionálem a odvedl skvělou práci. Byl cítit, že ho náš běh nadchl. Ještě jednou moc děkujeme!

They even prepared for us a special gate.

V Hradišti pro nás připravili i slavobránu.

The last ceremony was held at the Town Hall.

Poslední ceremonie dnešního dne se konala na městském úřadě.

The Mayor, who is also the Chairman of the Athletics Club, warmly welcomed us and provided us with refreshment. He very much appreciated our iniciative which goes along with his own conviction.

Pan Tichavský, starosta, a současně předseda atletického klubu, nás vřele přivítal a nabídl nám bohaté občerstvení. Během svého projevu ocenil a podpořil naši myšlenku, kterou skrze náš běh šíříme.
