USA 18 July: Minneapolis - Hastings
Today was a nice day for running in the rain after the hot and dry spell of the last weeks.
We had an inspiring run with former Self-Transcendence 6-day race participant, Danny Ripka starting from Lake Harriet in Minneapolis to the Lake Sreet Bridge (Dedicated as a Sri Chinmoy Peace Bridge)
We are led by Danny Ripka,
winner of the Self Transcendence 6-day race of 2005!
Also thanks to Jim at Kare 11 who took a fantastic video of us running down this path and put it on the 6 pm news.
Beautiful Lake Harriet.
Yuyudhan and his Sunday running partner Ismail who is from Istanbul, Turkey.
We met some kids outside a park and rec center.

Big thanks to Peter and Adam from the Park Board and Kate, the theater class teacher, and Shelly and Julian who teach the cardboard camp program.
We enjoyed meeting all the kids in their Powderhorn Community Center summer classes and teaching them the motions to the World Harmony Run song and sharing some skits with them about what harmony is about. What great kids!!
The Powderhorn Cardboard Camp Program was making an amazing labyrinth and we had a lot of fun going through it!! Thanks for a fun visit!
