A local-non profit Hip 4 Kids organized a community festival demonstrating healthy recipes and showcasing local greenmarkets as well as local and regional farms in order to promote Eco Consciousness and the local economy. Here some children are preparing snacks of locally grown produce.

We were delighted to join in this chorus of socially conscious organizations and encouraged the kids in attendence to exercise and make a wish for world peace.

Hip 4 Kids founder Chris Daly organized the event and through practical experience and demopnstrations made sure parents and children were aware of some healthier food options for daily meal preparation.

Award winning author Jeanine Behr Getz was sharing her lastest literary offering "Think Green."

A visit to the World Harmony Run table included making a World Harmony Run torch.

World Harmony Run team member, Homagni, explained to all our visitors the message of the Run and how we work together as a team to run through all 50 states of the US.
