USA 19 June: Port Orford, OR - Florence, OR

We continued today along the Oregon coast. Absolutely stunning!

Each scene was a postcard in the making.

We found our way to the Boys & Girls Club of SW Oregon in Coos Bay. This was the first visit with children for several days and it took a little while for the rust to wear off.

The children called us out on any little slip. They were a sharp group and had very interesting questions.

As usual they were all excited to hold the torch!

Thank you so much to Angie Hill for having us visit with the children.

She was very happy that we came and said the kids really enjoyed themselves.

I was up for a game of bumper pool, but we had to move on to Florence.

At the Florence Boys & Girls Club the group was little smaller, but the questions were just as sharp and they were great at guessing where we were all from.

A deep wish for harmony.

A prized possesion.

Our great friend and future Olympic hopeful - Kalpanati Broderick - joined us for the day.

The children often offer the funniest answers to our questions!

Thank you so much Florence Boys & Girls Club we really loved our visit.

In the evening we were hosted by Joyce and Natabara Rollison. The son and daughter team really were excellent hosts. We made veggie burgers and salads and then spent some time on the beach with a nice bonfire.

 Dhavala's first marshmellow.

Until tomorrow.
