Serbia 14 August: Uzice - Ljig

We are no longer in the crisp mountain air; every inch we run,  we feel a hotter wind on our faces. Guess we shall be grateful that there is any wind at all :)

350 Pozega kids were waiting with balloons waving as we came into town...

So much fun and a mutual lasting impression...

Honorary Runners collect their worldly stamps.

Future harmony hopefuls, all in together; one torch, many hands...

We are thrilled to see so many kids out in the summertime - after all,  that is really why we do this.

Always time for a Harmony Run...

Light at the end of the tunnel...

Cacak is next, and we are greeted by media reps and a beautiful cultural program.

With the summer heat of Serbia, one wonders, why the woolen socks?

A fledgling Maestro plays it like he means it.

Friends on the road...

Gornji Milanovac karate club runs with the torch and inspires us to keep moving through the sweltering afternoon.

Brave runners in the heat (over 40 C)...

Brave runner afterwards...
