Johannesburg
We visited some of our friends from last year. Here in Alexandra, a colourful suburb of Johannesburg where Nelson Mandela once lived, children from Inkanyezi Waldorf School carry the torch through the streets with great enthusiasm.
Normally on the World Harmony Run the team sings and then teaches the World Harmony Run song to the kids. At this school however we were bowled over by the gusto that the whole school sang with when we arrived. Here a teacher talks to the kids about the importance of world harmony.
Everybody had a chance to hold the torch and make a wish for world harmony.
