Poland 2 June: Wejherowo - Gdansk

Today we had to say goodbye to most of our team members and to the country of Poland. We thank all the Polish organizers for these eventful and joyful days and for their great sense of humour, which made us laugh together many times.

After visiting two schools, today’s run ended in Gdańsk, and all those continuing on the World Harmony Run took the ferry to Sweden.

The school in Bojano received us with open hearts and beautiful smiles.

They could all be sisters, don't you think?

A great headmaster and a great runner.

"We are family!"

The schoolchildren in Chwaszczyno received us with all their enthusiasm and eagerness.

Everybody is having different experiences.

A REAL smile.

Happy to be part of the World Harmony Run.

Saying good bye to the last school we visited in Poland. Thank you for all your smiles!

(As a girl, what could I possibly say?)

A very spontaneous act.

(Can you see their faces?)

Exhausted but happy... a state you quite often find yourself in on the Harmony Run.

Our final destination in Poland: the beach of Gdansk.

Very well-deserved!

Smile like a child and act like a child! This is the golden philosophy!

Leaving behind our Polish friends and many beautiful impressions we boarded the ferry to Sweden, ready for a new adventure.

Soldiers accompanied the ferry for a while, practising, aiming their weapons at us and so forth...

Travelling at quite some speed, it still took us 18 hours to reach the other shore.
