Poland 1 June: Ustka - Wejherowo
1 June is celebrated as Children's Day here in Poland, and today brought the children in us to the fore too: a nice breakfast including chocolate, delicious lunch just a few hours later, lot of kids running with us, we ourselves running and rolling down hills of white sand and of course, icecream. What more could you dream of as a child?!
As we slept, the stars moved slowly above our heads...
Today's team (minus Ondrej, taking the photo).
The Mayor of the 'Kingdom of Leba', as they call it, gave a very nice speech and ran with us.
Many kids and others joined us in Leba.
A happy train ride through the woods of the National Park here in Leba, which took us to the sand mountains at the ocean.
Speed-picture...
And here we are! Simply awesome!
Jarek in motion...
These mountains constantly change their shape and so they look different every year. They also move into the forest!
This town really has a lot to offer.
Unfortunately, time permitted only a 10-minute-stay at the beach.
In Lebork we were warmly welcomed by a representative of the town, who offered us delicious refreshments.
Long live Artur the Great! Hearing about the World Harmony Run on the radio, he and his foster-son Szymon joined us for the last four days. Thank you!!!
