An inspirational passing of the torch took place at the Legislative Congress -- an elegant building located in central San Jose, that is over 100 years old. We were joined by the Vice President of the Legislative Congress, Juan Jose Varga Fallas and two Deputies: Edwin Deive Patterson Bent (Limon) and Jose Francisco Salas (Eredia). Afterwards the runners were invited for refreshment and shared a visual presentation of the Runs in Europe and the Caribbean.

VP Juan Jose Varga is presented with the torch by Bhashwar Hart, a former native of Costa Rica.
