USA 23 August: New York City
Dear friends,
Today our journey came to a formal close as we celebrated running through 48 states over the past four months. We also welcomed and celebrated runs from more than 70 nations which have taken place this year. Numerous representatives from the UN community were on hand to join with us and offer their kind words of encouragement.
Thank you so much to all those who have followed our progress around the world this year and shared your own hopes and dreams for a more harmonious world. You are the ones that keep us going.
There is really too much to say to capture all that has happened this year so we'll just leave you with a few images of the closing ceremony.
Kindest regards
Salil Wilson
Director
