Indonesia 2 February: Jakarta
On our last day in Indonesia we accepted an invitation from the KNPI, the National Committee for Youth in Indonesia!
Mr. Hasanuddin Yusuf, President of KNPI, receives the torch
As the city slowly recovered from the flood of the previous day, we made our way to the KNPI headquarters.
KNPI organises many projects for Indonesia's youth and others, to achieve better life conditions in many fields.
We handed the torch to the president of KNPI, Mr. Hasanuddin Yusuf and many other members, all of whom greeted us warmly.
We had a great time together sharing our goals and visions, which turned out to be almost identical!
Our team received nice gifts, and the meeting ended with a buffet. As the World Harmony Run will return to Indonesia next year, we are looking forward to further fruitful cooperation.
Our flight was to depart soon, so we tried to reach the airport as soon as possible.
The journey turned out to be full of obstacles and unexpected surprises, but despite flooded roads and a 5-hour detour we still managed to catch our equally delayed flight to Singapore!
Our Indonesian coordinators...
At the airport, we said good-bye to our Indonesian coordinators Abhishek and Jyoti.
All our gratitude to Indonesia for hosting the World Harmony Run and giving us such a good time!
