The longest relay run in the world, covering 70 countries and promoting goodwill between nations, is coming to Bristol on Saturday. Participants in the World Harmony Run will be meeting the Lord Mayor of Bristol at 2.30pm on Brandon Hill by the Peace City plaque.
An international group of runners is taking part but anyone can participate and carry the torch for a few steps.
A spokesman for the event said: "The run does not seek to raise money or promote any political cause but only to create goodwill."
The run started on March 2 in Lisbon.
You can join the run in Bristol on Saturday from Cribbs Causeway at 1.30pm or Clifton Downs at 2pm.
For more information, phone World Harmony Run organiser for Bristol, Martin Payne on 07906 189 629.
