The final event of Canberra's National Multicultral Festival took place in the main streets of Canberra with a colourful community parade, the Helenic Club Harmony Parade .

We were surrounded by marching bands, school groups and organisations representing numerours nationalities and cultral groups from around the world.

The streets were lined with thousands of Canberrans of all ages, who gave the World Harmony Run team an enthusiastic reception, cheering, waving and smiling as the World Harmony Torch travelled past them.

The parade was something really special. We felt honoured to be part of this community event.
